The day of the long-awaited Paris 2024 Olympic Games has finally come! Starting from the opening ceremony on the 26th of July there have been many surprises, such as Celine Dion’s return, who closed the ceremony singing Hymne à l’amour from the Eiffel tower. However, there is also someone who had misfortune with amour! The Italian world champion Gianmarco Tamberi, during the ceremony, unfortunately lost his wedding ring that sank in the Senna River. As the athlete said, the ring will be forever in the city of love.

Brand Michel & Amazonka brand won socials over with its proposal for 2024 Olympics. The uniforms for the opening ceremony clearly make reference to Mongol tradition with embroideries that represent the symbols of the Olympic Games. Even if loved by the socials, some Mongols criticized the uniforms because to Chinese-like.

United States decided to entrust Nike for their national uniforms. These could be the most discussed uniforms after the Mongol’s ones, but not in a positive way this time. In fact, the sport brand was harshly criticized for the too high on the leg slip for female athletes. World champion Lauren Fleshman did not approve Nike’s design and affirmed that “Women’s kits should be in service to performance, mentally and physically.
